Standard Delivery generally takes 1–3 business days. If your gift needs to arrive sooner, Express Delivery is available for $15, with a usual delivery timeframe of 1 business day. Orders are sent with Australia Post or Aramex, depending on the most suitable service for the delivery.
Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by our carriers and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside their control. We’ll provide tracking so you can follow the progress of your delivery.
You don’t need to be nearby to let someone know you’re thinking of them. A birthday, a new baby, a thank you, a difficult week or simply a moment when someone could use a little kindness — sometimes sending a gift helps you feel a little closer, even when you’re far away.
Every GBB hamper is prepared with care and includes your personal message, ready to be sent to someone you care about across Greater Brisbane and surrounding regions.
Sending a gift to someone in hospital can be a lovely way to let them know you’re thinking of them, particularly when you can’t be there in person.
Gift hampers sent to Brisbane hospitals are delivered by Aramex to the hospital’s receiving or loading dock. From there, hospital staff arrange delivery to the patient’s ward or room through their internal distribution system, so please allow some additional time for your gift to reach the patient after it has arrived at the hospital.
When ordering, please provide the patient’s full name and hospital details, including the ward or room number if known. For maternity deliveries, please use the mother’s full name, as this is generally the name under which the hospital admission is recorded.
If the recipient is only expected to be in hospital for a short time, please consider their likely discharge date before ordering. Once a hamper has been handed over to the hospital, the timing of its internal delivery is managed by hospital staff and is outside GBB’s control.
If you’d prefer a more direct delivery, Premium Delivery is available to selected Brisbane hospitals for an additional $30. It can be particularly helpful when the recipient is only expected to be in hospital for a short stay.
With Premium Delivery, your gift is hand-delivered by GBB directly to the hospital on the arranged day. We’ll take it to the patient’s room whenever hospital access allows; otherwise, it will be handed to the ward reception. Once your gift has been delivered, we’ll send confirmation to you.
Premium deliveries are generally made between 4 pm and 8 pm Monday to Friday. Saturday delivery can be booked at any time during the week, with same-day Saturday bookings accepted until 10 am. Saturday deliveries commence from approximately 11 am onwards.
Premium Delivery is subject to availability when booking and to the recipient still being in hospital at the time of delivery. Hospital access restrictions may determine whether room delivery is possible.
If the recipient has been discharged before we arrive, we’ll contact the sender and arrange for the gift to be sent to the recipient’s home address through our standard delivery network at no additional charge.
Premium Delivery must be arranged directly with GBB and is subject to availability when booking. We recommend contacting us by email or live chat to check availability before placing your order. If you have already placed your order, simply have your order number handy when you contact us.
Once Premium Delivery has been arranged, we’ll call you to take payment of the $30 delivery fee by phone. Please do not send credit card details by email or live chat.
We use Aramex as our preferred delivery partner for most Brisbane suburbs. For outer Brisbane areas, or locations where Aramex has a longer delivery timeframe or limited service coverage, we use Australia Post instead. This allows us to select the most suitable service for each delivery address.
Our regular Standard and Express delivery timeframes are based on business days. Saturday Premium Delivery is available to selected Brisbane hospitals, subject to availability.
For other Brisbane addresses, we may be able to arrange weekend delivery through an independent courier service on request. Availability and pricing will depend on the delivery address and service required, and we’ll provide a quote before anything is arranged. As these deliveries are handled by an external service, delivery timeframes cannot be guaranteed by GBB.
We do not arrange deliveries on public holidays.
Yes. We deliver to business and workplace addresses throughout Brisbane and surrounding suburbs. Deliveries to businesses are generally made during normal operating hours. If the business has limited or unusual opening hours, please include these details with your order.
Please provide the business name and a complete delivery address, including the level, floor, suite or unit number where applicable. A shop number on its own is not sufficient, as it may not allow the driver to locate the business and could delay or prevent delivery.
At larger workplaces, deliveries may be accepted by reception, a receiving area or other authorised staff rather than handed directly to the intended recipient. Once accepted by the business, the gift may then be distributed internally to the recipient.
We deliver throughout Greater Brisbane and surrounding regions, including Brisbane Inner City, Brisbane North, Brisbane East, Brisbane South and Brisbane West.
Our delivery area also extends beyond Brisbane to surrounding regions including Logan, Moreton Bay, Redlands, Ipswich, the Scenic Rim and Somerset.
Most deliveries across these areas fall within our usual 1–3 business day Standard Delivery timeframe. If you’re unsure about delivery to a particular address, simply enter the delivery postcode at checkout or contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
